What to Expect
A family-friendly event in a passive park environment, free and open to the public, where you and your family can enjoy the Fair St. Louis fireworks. No entertainment is being provided (besides music), so we encourage you to bring good company, along with a frisbee, wiffle ball, soccer ball, and other kid-friendly activities if little ones are with you. Keep alcohol, glass, fireworks, sparklers, snap pops, tents, and ground stakes at home!
When are the Fireworks?
Fireworks are expected to begin around 9:30PM on July 4th. No firework displays on July 2nd and 3rd.
Parking
Limited parking exists around the park and on-street parking is prohibited. It isn't a matter of whether the parking lots fill to capacity, rather how soon they fill. Please carpool and arrive early if you want a spot near the park OR take Metro-Link to the East Riverfront (Casino Queen) station and walk to the park via a hard-surface sidewalk.
Food and Drink
A food/drink vendor will be on site. Additionally, you may bring your own. Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on park grounds. All bags and coolers are subject to search.
What is Prohibited
Pets, drones, alcohol, glass containers, fireworks of any kind to include sparklers & snap-pops, tents, ground stakes, grills, open flames, and tailgating and loitering in parking areas. Also, chairs, food, and smoking is prohibited on the overlook.
What is Permitted
Food, non-alcoholic drinks, coolers, blankets, chairs, umbrellas, tri-pods, and service animals.
Will the Overlook be Open to the Public During the Fireworks
